Question
My question is this. If you own 2 trucks and have your own operating authority, do you have to have both trucks insured (physical, general liability, auto liability, cargo, trailer interchange,etc.. through the same company?
Any advice would be most helpful.

Answer
Yes. When you have your own authority and a filing is made, the filing extends to any and all equipment that is owned and/or operated under that name and MC #.
Therefore, if an insurance company makes a filing, they want to insure all the equipment.
Keep in mind the filing pertains to the Liability and/or Cargo. The Physical Damage is not required nor is the General Liability.
