Hello, I am seeking a ballpark estimate for Health and Trucking Insurace. I will need all the required insurance for running under my own authority. My driving history at the moment is not too great, however the amount of time before I will need this insurance is about 5 years from now and my license will have lost all points by this time. In addition to that I also need health insurance; including vision, dental, perscription. I am seeking these quotes at this point in time becuase I am trying to make my future business plan figures as accurate as possible. On the health insurance side, I am an ideal canidate; I do not smoke or drink, and I am within the ideal weight on the BMI calculations. I also am aware that rates can fluctuate to a certain degree, but like I said; I only need these numbers as a rough estimate of my future expenses. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Trying to predict how much insurance will cost you in 5 years is impossible. My recommendation is for you to shop for the coverage you need 90 days in advance (like the health insurance). Then about 6 months before your ready for the truck insurance, start your shopping. But have your business plan ready. Know where you will be operating and what you will be hauling. The more specific your information, the more accurate the quote.
