I want to be able to cover my house,equipment etc from liabilities that may occur as an independant are there supplimental policies that cover such things?

Are you asking if there is coverage available above and beyond your truck insurance, home owners, etc?
If so, the answer is yes, you can purchase a personal umbrella and a commercial umbrella.
Ask your insurance agent for details of the coverage he has available that works with your current coverage.
