we are a moving company that does local and long distance hauling --- my work comp is as expensive as it is for insurance on our trucks --- it is making it very difficult to a profitable small business --- we pay something like 12.00 -14.00 per $100.00 in wages plus all these little extra's they add in there for work comp. is this normal?? this year we will be paying about 11,000 for work comp alone and we run 2 trucks ------ connie any advice is appreciated
also another posting on this topic said something about a way to get around paying work comp. but it is risky -- can you elaborate more on this???
