Ever heard of a $ 5 mil Contract Liability Limit in conjunct

Question
The company I'm leased onto has decided that we need this. First of all, the State of Nebraska doesn't require Occ. Health for Contractors. Suddenly, some of our customers are demanding we have this. Newsflash customers, I don't work for you or the company I'm leased onto. I work for a corporation that I happen to own.
The only thing I see this benefitting is the customer's and the company's liability if I happen to get injured due to a problem with one of them.
Furthermore, I checked with OOIDA and they don't have this.So consequentally, OOIDA's Occ Health policy is not acceptable. Imagine that. I haven't checked anywhere else, yet. I find it amazing that I can just happen to get it through the company I'm leased onto. This is leaving a real BAD taste in my mouth. Besides, the policy available through the company is $ 5 a month higher than OOIDA's and it is only a $ 1 mil policy, while OOIDA's is a $2 mil. policy.
I've actually thought about bucking the issue and forcing their hand. I'm not sure I want someone else making MY business decisions for me.
Connie, have you ever heard of this? Supposedly "Lots" of other companies are requiring this for their contractors. They quoted a company name in our conversation and it just happens my brother in law is leased onto that company. I'll get with him tonight or tomorrow to check his policy for this clause.
