my extended warrenty is about to expire. i wanted to know if there is an insurance you can get incase you blow a motor or trani on the road? i would preefer to pay a mounthly fee and a small deductable rather than get hit with the full cost on the road

I have not heard of any such coverage but it may be available. If you are doing the work on your truck yourself, some insurance company policies may cover some of these exposures under the COMP coverage. This is a little known secret among agents that sell for certain companies, ask your agent if your policy extends this type of coverage.
