Answer

Is it available for CMV's?
Also, as I have been reading here, I did not see an answer to one gentleman's request about drivetrain warranty (insurance). Is it available?
Scenario #2;
Is it possible for a driver that has been off the road many years to buy insurance on his own rig?
Found another;

Please define trailer interchange.

Answer
When a CMV is involved in an accident, the physical damage portion of the policy will normally pay for towing to the nearest repair facility. Wasn't sure from the question, where he was headed, so I thought I'd ask.
Drive Train Warranty, if this product is available from a dealer through an extended warranty, the important thing to remember is most warranties of this nature are in fact insurance policies. And as such can be cancelled (subject to the terms of the agreement) and unearned "premium" refunded.
It is possible for an driver that has been off the road to by insurance....slim pickings, but possible.
Trailer interchange - Intended to cover containers hauled (rail or sea) for damage but only in the presence of a true Trailer Interchange Agreement with the proper authorities.
Also, the term is used to imply Physical Damage to Non-owned Trailer used in your business wherein you could be held liable for the physical damage.
