Question
Where would one go to get a theft / loss policy for a $5000 skid steer loader? I've checked around town to no avail.I like all dogs I meet, and some people too!!
Answer
Need a bit more info, how about giving me a call on Monday.
Answer
Mike,
What are you using this for? Will be be used in conjunction with the truck or is there a separate purpose here?
Answer
I use it around the house and plan to put it to work to make a little $$ on the side. It has nothing to do with the truck.I like all dogs I meet, and some people too!!
Answer
Mike,
You need to contact a local agent. Because you intend to use it commercially, tell them you need a General Liability Policy and an Equipment Floater. If you are unsuccessful at getting this done locally, give me a call and I'll see if I can locate a market for you.
Answer
I don't want a general liability policy. (too expensive) I just need something the satisfy the bank that holds the note in case it gets stolen or swept away by a tornado.I like all dogs I meet, and some people too!!
Answer
Mike,
Ask the local agent to write an "Equipment & Tool Floater Policy". But a word of caution...if you use this equipment commercially AND you cause damage in some form or fashion, you could be held liable. Not carrying any coverage for that exposure is very, very risky.
