Anyone have any suggestions on where to look for medical and dental plans?

Some states have co-ops for insurance for small business' which is what O/O are considered. Another place to check would be OOIDA and your particular state's Trucking Association. There's a few starting points for you.

If its just for yourself, you will probably find a good deall, like Nurse Red said, in OOIDA. If you're wanting to insure your entire family, the cost is prohibitive. The best deal is to drive for one of the few companies that offer a comprehensive pkg. as part of their benefits, employer-paid. You can then add your family for what would be a reasonable amount. These co.'s are hard to find, but there are a few.
