Question
Speaking of Hepatitis C, I found this on a couple other sites:
HEPATITIS C ALERT!!! Anyone who ate at The Cookery Resturant, located at
Flying J Truck Stop, on I-85/40 & Jimmy Kerr Rd., Alamance County N.C.,
between11/24/99-12/3/99. You may have been exposed.
For more info call Alamance Co. Public Health
(336)513-5535. Don't delay, hepatitus is a very serious illness that can put
you out of commission.
Answer
Our operations dept just told me about this, saying they wanted to get the word out to as many drivers as they could. EXCEPT,
They said Hepititis A and 11/23 through 12/3.
Infected food service worker put the customers at risk. Operations said its one of those sneaky type illnesses and if anyone ate there and later on felt sick they ought to get it checked out and that it can lay you low for a long time.
Answer
I just talked with that health dept in NC whose number Retread provided. It is Hepititis A. I posted a separate thread called Hepititis A Information in this forum that gives all the information I gathered from two health departments and the CDC website.
Please forgive me the duplicate posts in the other forums. Some don't venture beyond their one or two favorite forums from what I can tell.
