Question
I've been having this problem .After driving for about 4-6 hours. My eyes start to burn real bad.It feels like I've been maced.Once both my eyes started burning real bad and I could'nt keep them open long enough to pull to the shoulder of the road.I tried to pry one open so I could see how close to the guard rail I was ,all I saw was red.Luckly I did'nt wreck.Usualy what helps is,I wipe my eyes with a moist towelett when I feel them starting to burn. This happens everyday even when I'm at home or driving my car also it happens at night. It's getting real irratating (excuse the pun).Any ideas what it may be ?I'm 42 if that helps,it's been going on for a few years.

In the truck, I would suspect a serious exhaust leak.
I don't know that toxins from an exhaust leak, might not continue to provoke the symptoms, or not.

Answer
It could be exhaust issues, it could be eye or other type of allergies.
You really need to see both your eye doctor and your MD ASAP.
In the meantime you can try taking a non drowsy OTC allergy medication and try using eye drops like Visine to see if it helps at all.
