I should have had it amputated!

Question
It would have been cheaper.
I have had for many years a fungus toenail. Since the drug folks want to advertise so much I asked my doctor about the options.
"Certainly", says he, "this medicine will either cure the problem, or kill you!"
After submitting to a blood smaple to measure liver performance, given a prescription and ordered back in 4 weeks for another blood sample and a new prescription. Ok .. fine so far.
Now I arrive at the druggist and present the script.
$198.00!!!!!!!! For four weeks and I'm anticipated to be on the meds for twelve. Thank goodness for co-pay insurance, my share was $2.00. Whew!

Answer
EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
THERE'S A FUNGUS AMONGUS!
JUST KIDDING
I have seen the ads for the medications you are referring to, but had no idea what they cost. It is not unusual when a medication is rather new for it to be very expensive. I remember when Zantac was about $12.00 a pill and now you can buy it over the counter, go figure!
So, in a few weeks you will have pretty feet, right? Shall I make the appointment with the Trucker's pedicurist now?
