One of our drivers had a diluted drug test. Second time around he passed. Was told by management that the second diluted drug test would have been a trip to re-hab. What if any options did a driver have just before the second test to help his position? I drink a gallon of water or more every day. Would this amount consumption affect a drug test of mine? Do I have the option of a blood screen sample instead of a urine sample?

A gallon over a 24 hour period would not affect it.. A gallon a couple hours prior to the test would!
Depending on your company policy and what lab they use. You may be able to give blood, hair folical sample is very good as well! However..there may be a added cost and your company may want you to pay that.
The bottom line is, folks who are clean have nothing to fear from these test. These people reconize an attempt to cheat the test when they see it! Can it be done,,yes and every now and then it is.
