Huett:
Yes you can still dirve. The process will invlove geting a medical waiver for a limb impairment. You will need to get all of your medical files and submit them to the Medical Review Officer that makes the decision on CDL physicals in your state.
You will need to re-certify, by taking a new physical, at that time have your records with you and explain to the doctor what your trying to do. He should note on the physical that your requesting a wavier.
The Medical Review Officer will call your doctor and confer with him before he makes his decision, you may only get a 1yr. physical and have to be re-cheked again untill you have a Medical History with your impairment.
Catch you on the flip!
