I work in the editorial department of Overdrive magazine, and I'm looking for drivers who have attained health waivers for their CDLs either because of diabetes, vision, etc. I would like to write and article about the process, so interested drivers should e-mail me @ LLindquist@randallpub.com RE: Health Waivers.

You may want to check with the individual state Motor Vehicle Departments. In Maryland, they have revamped the state regs so that drivers who would previously have been referred to a waiver program are now certified thru the state MVA to drive INTRASTATE only.Visit us at
