Answer
sorry to hear your bad news keep your head up I'm sure you will be back in the saddle after therapy
Answer
My brother has had the same problem and he has had surgery and he is doing fine and driving..
I myself have 4 disc in my neck messed up and have had 3 fusions and if all goes well I will be returning to driving very soon..
Just listen to your Drs. do what they say and all should go well..
Best of Luck to you
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
Answer
But all is not lost. Follow the advice of your Dr and therapists.
Take care in the future not to re-injure your back and you should be fine. Just make sure when your Dr. is ready to release you for work that he/she writes a statement indicating that they are aware of the job responsibilities of a CMV driver and feel you are safe to prform those duties.
Take this with you to any physical exams.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
