Nurse Red. I am not sure if you remember talking with me regarding the medication Xanax. Anyway, to make a long story short, USXpress disqualified me for taking this medication. All I know is that all benzodizapines are disqualifying. Do you know if any other good medications, that I can use while driving a CMV, that will help with anxiety and panic disorder? I know that Swift will take me with a note from my doctor taking this medication, but that doesn't leave me with many choices of carriers to choose from. I am planning a visit to my dr. next week to see if he can prescribe something less sedating. But, I would like to have some choices of my own to give him in case he says Xanax is the only thing that will help me. Oh and one more thing, do you know if benzos show up on the DOT drug screen? Thanks in advance for your help!

Talking to your Dr about something else is the best plan. DO NOT stop your medication without talking to your Dr.
I have personally used a medication called Buspar and found it to work very well. But that is a choice to be made between you and your Dr.
The Xanax will not show up on a DOT drug screen.
