Question
Just a couple quick questions, sometimes after driving for awhile on pavement, i stop to do some paperwork, but when i'm writing my hand shakes so bad that sometimes yoiu can tell because the writing is a bit squigly. I'm thinking it's just because of the truck vibrations and after so long my hands keep doing it, anyone else experience this? And when i sleep, sometimes my arm will twitch to the extent that i get really pissed, but it doesn't feel like my arm is shaking, yet it does.....am i going insane or what? oh, also very overweight(300lbs, about 5-, so maybe that's why.
There are no stupid questions, only stupid people
Answer
New one on me.
I do know that when I am very tired or have done a lot of fine motor stuff with my hands, they shake from fatigue. But it's not frequent enough for me to get excited about.
You don't mention your age, but I have to wonder if more might be going on. If it continues, you may want to have some testing done to rule out Parkinson's Disease or some other neurological disorder.

Answer
It might be something as simple as your arm remaining in one place a little too long. If you are driving for a fairly long period of time you may be cutting off some blood flow or slightly pinching a nerve or something and then when you start to move again the flow is increased or the nerve is no longer pinched and causing the twitching and shaking.
Every 30 minutes or so try stretching and moving your arms around a bit. You can do this while driving. See if that helps.
I will always be a mutter trucker at heart.
