The next one I had (Which got me terminated) was in April.. I had been on duty driving and non for 15 hours and about 20 miles from a truckstop when I blacked out...I don't remember nodding off to sleep which caused the doctors to refer me to a neurologist where the only conclusion the came to was a seizure disorder..This was the only time this EVER happened to me.. I don't take drugs, or drink..Which would be stupid for me drive if I did.
I have been on Depakote which controls such things as blackouts for a year with NO PROBLEMS or Side effects..
I was very fortunate to get a job hauling steel since May 2002 hauling regionally but I would like to go back to hauling VAN freight cause It's easier and OTR cause that was the main reason I wanted to drive in the first place..

You must be seizure free for 10 years WITHOUT medication in order to be medically qualified.
