Wonder if that is something that we should look into as a cause of some medical problems? The FDA has linked this to heart and nervous system problems and even linked to seizures..
Reason I bring this up is because many drivers use No-Doz (over the counter), or some caffiene induced (OTC) drugs.. All this seems to be coming to a head since a ball player died from taking it while working out. Just wondering your thoughts Nurse Red?

In high doses can cause a host of problems.
Many who have died from Ephedrine use have had undiagnosed or seemingly begign medical conditions.
My stepmother had a sudden fatal heart attack 20 years ago from using an Over the Counter diet aid containing Ephedrine.
She was a very healthy woman leading a very low stress lifestyle. She felt that she was getting a little thick around the middle and took these pills for about 2 weeks.
So, deaths from use of Ephredrine are not really news, just the media has gotten a hold of it and I'm glad they have.
Also, significantly high doses MAY give you problems on a drug test.
