My husband (driver) needs an eye exam and to get his lenses changed but I don't know when to make his appointment because of his schedule.
It made we wonder if there is a network or possibly dentists, eye doctors, or medical doctors that would frequent truck stops to provide services. You see, we live (like the name says) in the Middle Of Nowhere but there is a hospital in our town. Doctors drive here from other places for speciality items - podiatry, etc. I think if there was a network of some kind - hey, the possibilities could be endless and it would keep our drivers healthier.
It would be hard for someone on the road to go to the dentist or doctor. They seem to be cut-off from a lot of the real things we take for granted.

Have him go into any Walmart with an optical Dept. for the eye exam and see if they can't fill his RX immediately.
