Question
Ok My new blood pressure meds are Toprol XL. I usually drink a small glass of wine at night to help me sleep. Well I only just started on these meds yesterday and last night when I took only a cpl sips of my wine (which is a cheap Boone's Farm) I started getting a buzz!! Already?? I could usually drink the whole bottle and not feel anything!!
I have read the info over and over again on this kinda medicine and there is nothing about not mixing with alcoholic bevreages. I am never doing it again though I do know that. I have went to webmd and got the info on Beta Blockers but none has any info of what to and not to do while taking them....can anyone help me out?

layin down for a nap get up slow gives the body
time to equalize your B/P,thats when I would get
dizzy and feel like I was not there. It has
worked good for me 120/82 that was monday

Thanks for the reply I was kinda worried about this medication making me woozy. I have read though that it does slow the heart rate.
I am not as anxious now after taking this..perhaps it is in my head..lol but could it be working already?..this soon?..only after 2 days?
