Question
Hiya.
Any thoughts/experience on filling prescriptions that take a few days to be ordered/filled? I have one that takes up to a week to get here where I live but I'll be going OTR for four to six weeks at a time soon. Appreciate any ideas for getting my prescriptions on a regular basis out there on the road. Thanks.

In the movie "Duel", who was the bad guy?
Answer
Have your perscription transfered to a nationwide chain. Like a shop rite, walgreens, osco etc.
Answer
In "Duel" all you ever saw was his arm (waving him around) and his boots (under the truck at the cafe and in the final scene when he drives of the cliff). Maybe it was the mystrious Bedspread? As I recall, Dennis Weaver played some sort of manager.
Your doctor has a legitimate reason/need/excuse to write you a large enough perscription to last a couple months. But I'd also carry an "Exit Guide"...not to be comfused with a "Truck Stop" guide...so you can quickly locate a pharmacy if you need to.

Answer
Have your physician write prescriptions that allow for you to have enough of your meds on the road. This can be an expensive endeavor, however.
Or, as mentioned above, have the Rx's filled at a national chain like Walmart, Rite Aid, or CVS so that you have little difficulty finding a place to get refills.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
