Question
the generic aspirin I bought have caffeine in them even though the label says nothing but aspirin as an ingredient? I took a couple last night about an hour before I went bed, and I was wound for sound half the night, could not get to sleep just like I'd had coffee too late in the day. If I have caffeine, like coke of coffee after 2-3 in the afternoon it will mess me up all night. The bottle in question is walmarts house brand, Equate, manufacured bye Perrigo Co.
It don't pay nothin' to lead the first lap
Answer
If you don't know what all those big words meqan, you can get waylayed. But honest......
There is hardly anything that you can buy over the counter that (alone or in combination) can cause you a bad drug test.
What you all really need to understand is HOW any medication affects YOU!!!!
Many benign, seemlingly innocent meds seem to affect people differently. Your story is an excellent example of that
Here is another prime example...Benadryl
It is an antihistamine, clears blocked sinus's...
Also stops itching and other allergy related symptoms.
Taken as directed can make one drowsy, then again...maybe not.
Overdone, you can sleep for a lot of hours... A LOT of hours
But this is all very individualized.
If you are taking a med you have no experience with. Only try it when you can shut the truck down for 8-12 hours. Wait until you see how this med affects you before you try to drive that Behemoth you call home.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.

A drug test or anything isn't the problem here, the only ingredient listed is aspirin, could this have caffiene in it without being listed as an ingredient?

Answer
I understand what you are saying about the caffiene. I can not take that junk myself.
But, my question to you is, how do you know it has caffiene in the medicine if the only ingredient listed is aspirin???
Did happen to pick up aspirin for migraines? Because that does have caffiene in it.
Answer
I think you have stumbled onto something.
I have a bottle of Equate, too. All it lists as the active ingredient is aspirin. But......I also have a bottle of Bufferin, which is nothing but buffered aspirin. Like the Equate, it doesn't mention any ingredients except aspirin. I asked my wife (the smart one in the family) and she said she THINKS that Excederin is the ony aspirin product that actually claims to have caffiene in it.
I believe if the caffiene were in it, it would
say so.
Go figure.
