can anyone tell me how long i must stay out of work with this I had it done on 1/31/02 some are saying any were from 6mos to a year.

Be sure to bring the results of EKG's, Stress Testing, and lab work to the medical Examiner who will be doing your recertification physical.
Have YOUR Physician write a statement indicating that he/she is aware of your job duties and in his/her opinion you are safe to operate a CMV.
You may be given a limited card initially. And may never receive certification for more than one year at a time.

I had same in 99'/ missed 6wks work. I was lucky
tobe workin for a co. with no loadin or unloadin
or I would have lost more,most likely. I was
not up 100% but it took about 3mo. to feel up
to run as hard as before the op. ,any ? u can

I had 5 back in 95 and was out of work for 5 months. It all depends on how well your incision heals and no complications. I had complications that's why 5 months.
Suggestion if you haven't gone through it yet. Go through Phase II Cardic-Rehab. It's an excersise program to built yout heart rate. It's tougher than one thinks.
