Remember my other thread with the sick kids? Well of course whatever it was got to me. Last week I had the coughing and stuffy nose symptoms and this week it was vomiting. I then discover after I finally DRAG myself and my two (now well) kids to the Dr. that I have an ear infection in both ears and a severe sinus infection. So Antibiotics. Well after this long story (told for background and sympathy purposes.....everyone say awwwwwww). I am naseous on these antibiotics. I take them with food and all. Tequin is the name of it. Is this normal. I won't quit taking them because I know you shouldn't so that, but man I feel sick all the time. Thanks!!!!

Answer
Take a little antacid with the medication. Mylanta or something similar may coat your stomach enough to deal with it.
However, you really should let your Dr. Know you are having a problem. He may be able to change to something else.
But this is a pretty nasty bug going around. Ands it seems resistant to most of the first and second generation antibiotics. (Translation: the older more ofte nused antibiotics, like Peniccillin, and such won't work on this bug)
