I thought genital warts came back over time even when treated or burned off..kinda like herpes you can treat em' but they come back again...am I wrong? I new a girl who had them in high school..i felt sorry for her cause everyone knew and made fun of her...

Nope, they can be treated and never come back and sometimes they do, that is one of the things that makes them so troublesome.
Not all genital warts are from sexually transmitted diseases. Some are just like other warts and are actually from the same virus' that cause them anywhere else on the body.
A physician must diagnose them in order to know which type they are and what treatment to opt for.

Didn't mean to get ahead of you Sharon, but it was advertising.
I had a bad outbreak of warts about 1967. The Army doctor called them "planters warts". The Army decided they would not treat them in any way.
After discharge the problems continued, the worst area was my left foot. I had a huge wart, (growth), in the ball of my foot. This was becoming quite a challenge to me.
I also had them spreading to my lips and other more private areas.
I visited a doctor who informed of the following, "We will have to dig that out, (of foot), you will be layed up for several weeks, and we most likely will NOT get it all, meaning it will have to be done again. I would say you're in for a life of hell!"
On my return to him two weeks later, the warts were dying and falling off. He simply stated, "I thought they would."
His theroy, and it seems to work, is that warts are a virus that your own body can eliminate if directed to.
His contention was the scare tactics he used on me caused the natural immune system to kick in and elimnate them.
He also mentioned that is WHY the old wives remedies, i.e., kill a frog on a tombstone at midnight actually work. If you BELIEVE they will, it activates the body defenses to do the job.
And apparently this same theory applies to many other ascpects of self health.

When killing the frog it must be a new tombstone and you must dance nekkid in the moonlight while doing it. SHEESH! Do I have to teach you all EVERYTHING?!
There is no doubt in my mind that there was an advertisement here. However.....I would have liked the opportunity to read it to see if it had any value for offering or discussion. Besides, how do you know that I hadn't asked that person to post it here? As I may do on occaission. (But that wasn't the case this time.)
Just let me know ASAP if there is something questionable in this forum and I will get to it right away.
