NURSE RED could you enlighten me on a patch for B/P called CATAPRES-TTS1 how effective it is can you take it with your other blood pressure meds the doctor gave it to me and didn't really exsplain much about it all he said one patch is good for a week thanx for any prof. input

Applied weekly, they deliver a constant, time released dosage of medication into your system through the skin. This is great because it is CONSTANT. Not like a pill that wears off after it's been in your system a few hours.
It also possesses a very mild sedative effect which helps to control blood pressure.
As for what medications may be used in ADDITION to the Catapres Patch, that is entirely up to your physician. Just make sure he is aware of ALL medication you take.
