Question
Hi Nurse Red. I had outpatient surgery on Friday afternoon and the doctor gave me a prescription for Cephalexin [500 mg],3 per day for 3 days to prevent infection and also Tylenol 3 for the pain.
Since Tylenol 3's have CODEINE in them I asked to have the prescription changed to a non-narcotic pain reliever.I was prescribed Indomethacin[25 mg], 3 per day. Now I have taken 2 of these and I am feeling no real pain this am[TOUGH GUY] so my question is, can I legally carry this prescription with me in the truck, in it's prescription bottle. I do have back pain from time to time and usually just deal with it or chew on some Advil.
Please remember "I Am Canadian" in case either of these 2 prescriptions are not legal south of the 49th parallel.
Thanks for your answer.

Answer
Leave the Tylenol 3 out of the truck and you for 3 days prior to driving.
The Kefelx (cephalexin) is an antibiotic which will not show on a drug test nor will the Indomethacin. Neither should affect your ability to safely operate your CMV either.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
