asthmatic broncitus

Question
a few months ago i was coughing really bad and had trouble breathing. i went to work then left early since i still couldn't breath well. I went home then my wife wanted to go to the hospital. since she was really worried she called an ambulance. they checked my ekg and decided to give me some glicerin, took it, felt better. get to the hospital they run all sorts of tests and come up with nothing, and send me home empty handed. I was told to do a follow up with my regular doctor. i go and in less than an hour he has me do a breath efficency test and detirmines that i had asthmatic bronchietus. he gave me a prescription for an inhaler in case i needed it again, and now i'm hoving some trouble breathing now and again. i smoke about 1/2 pack a day for the last 6 months or so. does anyone really think the inhaler would help me?

Answer
That you haven't even TRIED the inhaler??????
You will be the best judge of whether it helps or not. How can anyone else determine that for you?
Oh yeah, and put out that cigarette! That is definitely NOT helping!
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
