FMSCR Regulations

Question
Where do I find them online? I am specifically looking for regulations on the driver and his state of health. The situation is that I am deaf in one ear and I was wondering if there is rules stating that a driver needs a certain hearing level to hold a CDL. Any help is appreciated.

Answer
Just back from Vacation. LOL Sorry.
Please contact your state DOT agency for waiver instructions and forms. There are links to all state agencies here on the roundtable.
The regs state that you must be able to detect a whispered voice from a distance of 5 feet or more in each ear and together.
If you can not do this,an audiometry test must be performed by a certified audiologist and the results noted to be passing or not qualified.
If you have been determined to be 'Not qualified' please start the waiver process asap.
Again, I apologize for my absence and late response.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
