When my husband comes back home from OTR. I'm taling about SNORING. Not just a little. I'm talking keep me up all night, even when I go to the couch. Wakes the kids up too. Now he never used to snore much unil he started driving. (Been driving about 5 weeks now.) Shaking him doesn't help. Rolling him over doesn't help. No position he sleeps in helps. Even when it's not freight train loud, he's always snoring somewhat. I'm losing my sanity on the weekends from lack of sleep!!!!! We tried breath-rite strips....nothing. ANY ADVICE would be appreciated!

Very often, someone who starts snoring suddenly when they didn't before has suffered a weight gain. If he is eating a diet of truckstop and fast foods, that could be to blame.
He may also have sinus problems. It is allergy season ya know.
You may need to seek professional medical advice on this one if the above reasons aren't the culprit. Snoring such as you describe can lead to sleep apnea.

snoring as you say he does can be a "sign" of sleep apnea.
Talk to doctor--they will usually have snorer go to a sleep clinic to monitor and see if it is sleep apnea....you really need to get this checked out just to rule it out if its not sleep apnea.

Just another reason to get it checked out.....
I had the same problem that was corrected with RF surgery, (see link below) and I have never felt better after sleeping!! I used to sleep 10 or 11 hours and was always tired. Now I sleep about 5 to 7 hours and I feel terrific. Also my blood pressure, which has always been high, and at times uncontrollable, came down to manageable levels.

My brother snores like a Harley with straights. He too has sleep apnea. I would get checked if it was that bad.
