Question
Hello People,
I wanted to introduce myself and let every one know i am a diabetic and have been for 10 years i had to recently stop driving because i had to start taking insulin , the good news is i will be undergoing surgery to help me loose weight and reduce my insulin shots to oral medication once again , then to where im on no medication at all.
I have had all my preop testing done and have spoke to 2 diabetic specialist who have explained to me because of my weight 385lbs, my sugars have went up also because 90% is due to stress.
they also explained to me that after surgery and the proper weight lose i will be able to live a healthy and normal life as long as i eat right and excersise daily.
I have only been on insulin for 2 months now im 39 yrs old male, and dont like taking needles daily but i need to keep my health up and do whats right.
I pray every day that by october of this year i will be back on the road my doctors say sooner but im not going by any high goals that way if its later then i wont be disapointed but after i have lost at least 35 to 55 pounds i should be fine, i will take off an average of 15 to 20 pounds per month after the surgery , i have had the chance to talk to 4 other people whom have had this surgery and have lost each between 90 to 155 pounds .
this same procedure was done with a famous hollywood celeberty carny wilson , she has lost over 155 pounds so far and looks great.
I love recieveing e mailing from other overweight people such as myself and other diabetics so please feel free to give me a shout i would love to hear from you , have a nice day and stay safe on the roads..
