Question
Well, went to the dentist, and got the bottom half of my mouth done up in plastic. He took the last two teeth out (Ouch! he had to shoot me 4 times) and slid those new chops in. I feel like I have Way too much in my mouth! But I've had next to nothing on the bottom for quite a while, so maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. At least I ain't a snaggle-tooth anymore!

Answer
As I mentioned earlier, I am a firm beleiver that keeping your grill in your mouth as often as possible is best. Especially in the first year.
As your gums heal and the swelling goes down, the gums will adopt the contures of the dentures creating a tighter fit. Even as time goes on and your weight fluctuates, your gums will continue to adapt to your dentures if they are left in most of the time.
Forget the glass at the bedside at night. I sleep with mine in. They fit so well (even after 25 years) that they cause me no problems even during sleep.
I do take them out a few times a day and brush them well, but this is what you would do with real pearlies anyway (except you'd leave them in your head). I have never had a problem with discoloration either. But mine are made of some plastic acrylic stuff that doesn't stain.
The fit is very important though, and you will find that it changes somewhat as the healing process goes on. Keep going to the dentist if things aren't feeling right. Especially if there are sore spots occurring. They can rapidly become infected and very painful, so don't ignore them.
As for feeling like you have a mouthful, you are right, but you will adjust to that in no time at all, keeping your choppers in your mouth will hurry that adaptation along.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
