Question
case of athlete's foot and its not between the toes , its on the inside of the heel , both feet . have been to several Doctors , one gave me a scrip for this goo , at $70 a tube , went thru two tubes , another Doctor said ice cold water and apple cider vinger , ok , so that seems to help , hard to tell when its O degrees outside , my feet sometimes might not itch for 12 hours or so . when I drive I wear thongs , try not to wear socks unless i have to deal with John (Jane) Q. Public . Have been thinking of looking for some one other than main stream Doctor ( herbalist , naturalopath ) will try just about anything as scratching feels about as good as sex .

Answer
You've started correctly by removing moisture as a medium for growth, another facet I have encountered is changing the PH level. So for a cheap try, take oak leaves and crunch 'em up and make a foot bath, this is a long process but it adds another layer of drying. What we did is take an old oak stump and carve out a bowl and soak our feet twice a day. For me it took about 30 days, for my brother it took about sixty. The tannins in the oak leaves left the feet very leathery and darkenend in color, but it did "dry up" the rash. I also "doused" my shoes in baking powder to soak up any moisture, the object is to "starve" the fungus and discontinue the growth.
Another try is to soak in alchohol, kills just about anything, thats why we use it as a mouthwash!
Now, you should make sure if this is ok with your Dr. as he writes the prescriptions for $70.00.!!!
And realize, I am just a voice on the internet who breeds cows for a career, I'm not to hip on

If you want something you have never had before, you'll have to do something you've never done before.

Answer
thanks for the ad-vice , King Fa , lets see I have 6 apple trees , 1 apricot , 1 peach , 1 walnut , 1 cherry , 1 pear and 4 pine trees , one of my neighbors has an Oak tree I only need the bottom 12in. slice . I would try boiling oil if I thought it would work ( someone else would have to go first ) maybe its something I'am allergic to , sure hope its not garlic or hot peppers or chocolate .

Answer
Sailor-Man,
Many years ago my brother came home with Athletes foot and my father made him soak his feet in Clorox bleach. To this day, forty odd years later, he has never had athletes foot again. Worked for him, might for you. The mixture is a 60%water and 40% Clorox. Hope this helps.

Answer
All else has failed.
But remember one important factor! Get rid of your old shoes. The fungus is there and everytime you put them back on....Guess what? It starts all over again.
Keeping you safe, healthy and on the road.
