From what I've read, this kind of heart condition is more prevelant with people in high stress jobs,smokers, ethanol drinkers and people who don't get stimulating excercise 3 times a week.

Well, I'm not a biochemist, but if the venom works as descibed, it would be great. One of the most commonly described medications for A. Fib comes from the digitalis plant. It is toxic in unmonitored doses.
I'm sure more testing will drive the cost of it up, but it must be done.
Besides, how expensive can it be to raise tarantulas for their venom?
