Hi all,
Is there anyone here using Dynamic Webpages for their non-eBay website?
I have reached a critical juncture and need to decide if I need to redo my website in all static pages. I'm finding it very difficult to optimize my website for Google with a dynamic website.

All my webpages are dynamic webpages now . It makes it easier to optimize for google as well as update.

You'll have to define what you mean by dynamic: cgi, asp, js?

Jayne strummer will be here shortly. All I know is she is using Dreamweaver and her headers on her product pages are all the same and Google spider can't read the text on her product pages because they are dynamic. Like I said she will reply shortly.

Hello gina u dont need to redo all your pages to static what you can do is mod rewrite with a hack to rewrite your urls. Basically u need a php programmer to turn urls like this:
http://www.strummersmusic.com/produc...irect%20%20box
into something liek this
http://www.strummersmusic.com/produc...CGM-direct-box

It's written in PHP and has a MySQL database.

I'm getting ready to redo it all in Dreamweaver making static product pages. If I don't have to that would be great. However, everything I've read said that spiders don't like to crawl dynamic pages.

Thanks for your offers of help, both of you.
I've decided to just go with Static pages for now. My time is very limited right now and I figured out how to change to static without it being too much of a mess or difficulty.
