website software question

Question
Is there a program I can purchase to make loading items onto a website as easy as loading them onto ebay or any auciton site.
I have a new staff that is looking very promising but computor skills are good but limited so I need to design something really, really simple to use for her. I hate the loading information onto the website part, so I need this software too...........

Answer
gabs, I've no idea what you are using now, but most FTP programs will let you "drag and drop" just like Windows. Can't get much easier than that.
Once you get the connections setting in place, all you have to do is click to start the program, click to connect, browse the folders and drag & drop.

Answer
sorry, guess i wasn't to clear......ftping isn't the problem
somehting for the page itself to make the ad
as in box for title goes here
description goes in this box
picture goes here
price goes here
etc.....
only designed really easy to understand. ......so there is minimal room for errors.

Answer
Hmmmm.
I'm wondering if something like this service for writing auction listings is what you are thinking of?
seller sourcebook
I haven't used them, but the ease looks intriguing and the templates I think are charming.
I wonder if it could somehow be modified for web site use?
From reading the FAQS it looks like a fill in the blanks type service.
Maybe there is an here member who has used this service that could weigh in?

Answer
Ohhh....I gotcha.
You're looking for a WYSIWYG editor. That makes designing a webpage just like making a Word doc.
You'd probably have to set up the template. Then your employee can insert the information.
Here's some free ones.

I grabbed those off www.nonags.com. If you don't like those, you might look around for others. It's a great everything-free website. Just click the "SOFTWARE Free for everyone" link.
You might also see if you can get a look at FrontPage. As much as I hate that program, it's easy for people who don't know html, plus it has templates built in.
