Question
I have a whole shelf of web design books--and more shelves of other computer stuff.
The one web design book that's tattered and used to pieces is O'Reilly's HTML: The Definitive Guide. That particular one's not in print anymore, but they have a newer book that's just as good. (I have at least half a dozen O'Reilly books.)
I have another book that I grab when I need inspiration. It's The Web Design Wow! Book. Great stuff in there.
What's your used-to-pieces favorite web design reference book?
Answer
lol does HTML for dummies count?
I'm not even sure if I still have it but I know I bought it when I was trying to learn this stuff and it was greek. LOL
I found that learning HTML is just like learning a new language. Once you get past the fact that you cant understand every word that is said you can start picking out the words you do understand and building on them until you figure out what the heck the person is saying.
HTML for me was a huge block then it was like DING!!!! I get it.
Don't get me wrong I still am light years in the dark on most of it but I am learning thanks to you Jayne, and this forum.
Answer
I am a write-it-down kind of person. I want to have a piece of paper I can look at. Even if it's online, I like to print it out and put it in a notebook.
But then...I love books anyway. I read a ton.
What I DO need is a good book on PSP8. Any suggestions?
