Search Engines Just Measure Words

Question
Kathleen did an outstanding job of explaining search marketing in Very well done.
If anyone gets overwhelmed or daunted at the task of preparing your site for search marketing, just take a step back and relax.
The basic essence of it is that Search Engines measure words. That’s it, that’s all they do.
I’ve been in the search marketing business for over six years and I can tell you that the ranking formula is 95% Language and 5% math.
There are too many site owners that are chasing their tails’ trying to figure out that 5% of the ranking formula. By the time they figure it out, the Search Engines change the math!
A Web Consumers types in a few words, and the Search Engines send back the most relevant page that they have measured to match those words.
If a site owner sticks to solid and focused content, they are most of the way there. And they will stay there no matter how often the Search Engine math changes.

Answer
Thank-you for this very understandable post about search engines. I appreciate it. Kim
