If you have a website and participate in reciprocal links...

Question
...don't send these out. It's a GUARANTEE that I, and many others, will hit the delete key faster than a virus.

quote:
We have placed a link to your site at www . XXX . com/links.html for over a month now, without any notice or reply from you. However a recent bot crawl of your site did not reveal any reciprocal to our site.

Let us know where we can find our reciprocal link and when you intend to post it.

Just because you linked to me, doesn't mean that I have any interest in linking to you.

Well, that takes brass ones!
Not, of course, that I've figured out how to do a links page yet, LOL!

Answer
Links pages, those are easy, Momelie. Just add them in your Favorite Sites (at RL). Most websites have a "links" or "directory" page. Just find one that you like.
But yes, that takes brass ones. I find most of these (and I get a LOT) are from NEW websites which employ or use automated linking programs. I've always "picked and chose" various site because I feel that they are complimentary to whichever site I'm working on.
I don't even use bots! I visually check links monthly at each site I've sought out. And even with that "low tech" approach, my SEPs and quite good and two sites have PR 5, one has PR 4-and it's not even Open Directory yet!
I'm not into "link farms" (cheap thrills) regardless of their page rank.
Ok, my little tissy fit is over.

But DO add some relevant links to your site!
