Hi
I am using go daddys web site tonight.
It has a place for meta tags and there's three options.
Whats the difference?
It says:
Meta tags
Description (I can add text)
Keywords (add text)
Custom Mets Tags (I can add text)

Example: 6" blue widget, 1978, works flawlessly, pins are perfect. Basically, a very short synopsis of what the page is all about.
Keywords
Example: 6" blue widget, blue widget, widget, 1978 blue widget, 1978 widget, pins (you'll want your most IMPORTANT keyword/s listed FIRST) Basically, a list of words that describe what the page is about - words that people would use to search for a "6" blue widget"
Custom Mets Tags

Custom Meta Tags are typically used for such things as verifying a site for Google sitemaps. This is for website owners that don't have access to uploading a zero byte file directly to the websites root directory.

If I remember correctly that website tonight has a problem. I think all Meta tags are the same on all pages. One of Godaddy's "got you" you have to upgrade to have the ability to adjust each pages tags. Don't get me wrong I love Godaddy and have 5 websites with them. I just don't use any of their programs.
