Question
My one page Biz "landing" page looks like the following... basically an electronic version of my pending Biz cards.
I'll have at least two Biz cards, one as "Proprietor" and one as "Buyer".
I'll also have different email addresses: Mike*MyBizCompany.com and Buyer*MyBizCompany.com.
Code:
My
Company LLC Firstname Lastname
Logo Proprietor
Street Address 269-123-4567
Dept. B Fax: 866-123-4567
City, State Zip Mike*MyBizCompany.com
Since I'll have two different Biz cards...
1) As a one person LLC, is "Proprietor" OK? Or should it be "Owner"? Or just leave it off?
2) Should the email on the landing page be "Info*MyBizCompany" instead of "Mike*MyBizCompany.com" or "Buyer*MyBizCompany.com"?
ANY suggestions/comments would be very much appreciated.
Thanks, Mike
Answer
flinchlock~ Welcome to here!
The "official" title of a LLC is a Member or Managing Member.
I'd just leave it off.

Thanks for the Welcome... I forgot to introduce myself... I will be doing that very soon.

Well, duh... of coarse they are!
Regarding question #2: With two different Biz cards, I can use the "Buyer" Biz card if I am just wanting information at Trade Shows and not ready to make a real decision about the product(s).
So, any thoughts about using the Info*MyBizCompany.com email on the one page Biz "landing" page?
I'm quessing it might be confusing if the person with the "Buyer" Biz card sees a different email on the one page Biz "landing" page.
Thanks, Mike
Answer
My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter which email address you use as long as they all originate from your company's site.
In fact you might want a more generic one to put on the web so that you can change it out in the future if the spam gets too bad...

Hmm... very good point.

Since my site will be only be used by my suppliers just to help them verify I am a real business, I do not think that will be a problem. My site is basically an electronic Biz card.
BUT, I did use this site http://www.seowebsitepromotion.com/obfuscate_email.asp to create the obfuscated email code. I used the "Email Obfuscator — Complete MailTo Address" method with "Mix Conversion" (a combination of Hexadecimal and/or ISO characters).
And, my robots.txt file is like this...
Code:
# No robot will spider the domain
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
I then used this site http://willmaster.com/possibilities/...ieveEmails.cgi to see if it can find any emails on my site... it can NOT find any. Hopefully that will stop at least the good spiders.
Thanks, Mike
