css- oh god! why does it have to be so complicated!?

i barely know html, and i need to do start revamping the site, but it would be stupid to continue doing it the way i have been.
i want to make a header and footer in css, i use dreamweaver 4, and i starting
looking into doing it in css, boy it seems so crazy!
where should i go for hand holding css training.

I second doobeedog. WebTechU's classes are excellent. They start twice a month, IIRC. You read lessons online, post your homework and email the URL to your tutor.

The CSS class is 4 or 5 lessons and gives a solid basic grasp.
