Discovering the joys of osCommerce . . .

Question

OK, I've gotten this far.
I have a host.
I have cPanel.
I have a shared SSL.
My cPanel has just plain jane osCommerce but I've installed the latest CREloaded.
Everything seems OK although I have no clue if the SSL is set up. I suspect it's not because I get this message when I try a fake checkout:

Not Found
The requested URL /loaded615/checkout_shipping.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.34 Server at secure62.hostgator.com Port 443

But that's not even my big question.
I have spent most of the day trying to install the latest PayPal WPP module.
I've gotten this far:
o Step 1:
Unzip all contents contained in osc_paypal_wpp.zip
o Step 2:
Simply upload the "catalog" folder into your osCommerce store directory. If your file transfer program prompts you to overwrite existing files please do so as the directory hierarchy has been automatically adjusted to match your osCommerce installation. Files included inside the module will automatically replace the existing files inside the catalog directory and respective sub directories.
Example Store Directory: /home/yoursite/www/oscommerce/catalog
o Step 3:
-> Log in to your osCommerce Administration Area
-> Click Modules
-> Click Payment
If the catalog directory was successfully uploaded, you should see both "PayPal Website Payments Pro" and "PayPal Express Checkout" modules listed under "Payment Modules". Installing the "PayPal Website Payments Pro" module installs both "Express Checkout" and "Direct Payment" methods.

Wanna guess what I don't see??
The good news is that I think this is the only contribution I want to install.
Any help will be kindly appreciated.

Answer
Be sure that you have the proper rights to that catalog folder.
If your running Linux/apache and have access to an FTP program connect to the site and chmod the folder with 777 rights (for now).
If your not a FTP'er then go to your cpanel and click on file manager get to the catalog folder and look to the right, that should tell you what the permissions are set. You can change them from the cpanel on the top right of the screen, click on the "change permissions" hyperlink.
If that doesn't work, let me know and we'll look at some of the more complicated things that could have gone wrong.
