i have strange http errors

Question
i can't figure out how to fix these, or how they are around. (they do not appear in my site, using dreamweaver)
(i found these errors using google sitemaps)
http://www.imosh.com/%20
http://www.imosh.com/PATCHES/pages/%20
the easy http errors i fixed with cpanel/redirect, it wouldn't work on the %20
which i guess is just the html for a single space

Answer
Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving IMosh:

I've seen that in FrontPage used by the program to convert spaces in file names or urls.

For instance, if I forget and name a pic = that funny pic.jpg

and add it to the website the html would come out looking something like:

http://www.somelink.com/that%20funny%20pic.jpg

Look for spaces or other characters that your program may be doing a substitution for.

Good luck.

Answer
I can't figure out what your errors are - the URLS you have listed are not directed to any pages the path isn't complete.
that is why they are bringing up the custom 404 pages.
The URLS that you have typed out end in a space - if you are trying to reach your main page you will just remove the %20 from the URL and if this is on a link you need to remove the space at the end of the URL in the code.
URLs should never have captials or spaces.
file name should use the _ underscore or the - dash instead of spaces.
the %20 is the code for a single space because there can't be a space in a URL.

ummmm... so does this mean that all of my photos for my website that have file names with spaces in them (and %20 used in all of the pages for them) I'm going to have problems?? Please tell me I don't have to go in and change all my file names and edit all my pages... So far I have 60 photos, with separate pages for all 60 of them...

Answer
Jube333 if you have uploaded the photos just type in the url in your address bar and see if they come up. If they do then they are ok.

Answer
Thanks Mike. I haven't uploaded the website to my Host yet. I'm still working on it on my computer. I have to add a shopping cart, etc, and still add a few info pages to it.
This is a website for my Husband's Fine Art Photography, so the photos are kinda the most important part. Is there a way to test it on my computer? In the pages themselves I use the %20 wherever I'm linking to one of the photos, but if I look in my pages folder with all the photos as separate pages, the file names have the spaces, because we named the photos with spaces in them, like "Forest At Dusk.htm"... Is it okay with the spaces in the file name for the pages as long as the pages linking to them reference them with the %20? I'm all worried now if I don't change the spaces to dashes in the filename it's going to get screwed up. But man that would be a lot of work because I would have to update everything...
