Answer
has anyone tried this? I put it in the header of my webstore a couple of days ago and google still says it is waiting for data to be gathered. they state it will take 12 hours but it's been 48. it says that I have it installed correctly. is it taking this long for everyone else? Thank you.

Answer
Mine is working fine. It does have quite a time lag. I haven't had time to set up the conversion tracking yet but it does give you more info than you would ever need.

Answer
mike,
is this lag just in the beginning or does it always take several days to display data? I mean, is the data always going to be several days late? Thank you.

Answer
I signed up on Tues so only got a partial day. Today is Friday so all my hits show for Thurs so it appears to be a 24 hour lag.

Answer
I'm going to give it a go on my website and see what happens. Information is good (most of the time anyway).

Answer
Am I the only one having trouble?
Installed the code on my pages 3 days ago, since then it says, statistics
will be avalible in 12 hours? It has been 12 hours x 6 . Did I do something wrong?
I installed the code on my site, and it was validated, although took 1.5 days instead of 6 hours. Do I need to set up anything on the panel when logged in??

Answer
Fast-pack I looked at your code everything looks ok. They may just be overwhelmed because this program was very expensive before Google bought them out. I may have just gotten lucky. No I didn't do anything special on the panel. I just need time to figure out the conversion part.

Updated: I have installed Google Analytics, but all or some of my data is missing from my reports.
Update: 2:01 AM PST. Friday, November 18th, 2005
Currently, report updating for Google Analytics is experiencing delays. As a result, you may not be seeing any data in your reports even after implementing the Analytics tracking code.
We are currently in the process of updating all reports. You should be able to see these updates in 24 hours. While this is going on, you may notice different reports updating at different rates. Once this process has completed, all data should be restored to your profiles. Please be assured that this update process has no effect on data collection.
We apologize for any inconvenience. This reporting delay is associated with unexpected demand for Google Analytics. Under normal circumstances, the data in your reports will be at most 24 hours old. http://groups.google.com/group/analy...581c46fa9c2ef0
Thank you for your email. I understand that you have some concerns
about data not appearing in your account. We appreciate your interest
in Google Analytics and hope to have your reports populated as soon as
possible. Since we have received an unexpected demand for Google
Analytics, there have been some delays reporting data since launch. I'd
like to give you an overview of what to expect going forward:
- The "Check Status" feature is currently not accurate. If you added
the code to your pages correctly, then we are collecting data. You can
make sure by seeing if your site has set "_utm" cookies in your
browser.
- If your reports aren't currently populated, they will be as soon as
the next processing run is complete. We process every 24 hours.
- You may see some reports within a profile before others. We're
populating reports like this to get you as much information as soon as
we can. If you see this, rest assured that all applicable reports will
show data soon.
- Once we catch up with the data for your account, you'll see new
reports every 24 hours.
