Question
So what exactly can one do with 5GB of bandwidth? What sort of website will that support?
I have no clue as to any sort of frame of reference here.
Answer
That all depends on traffic to your site, and how big your site is.
most likely if your just starting out, with little or no traffic its a good start.
our site transfers approx. 1 gig per day, but we have quite a few vistors and huge pages.
websites are cheap anymore, here's where i have some of my smaller sites

Answer
99.9% of sites on the internet will use less than that a month, you should be fine.
5 Gigs = 5000 Megs
1 Meg = 1000 KB
an average webpage including grafics would be 100KB (sweeping generalisation but good enough for this example)
this would be 50,000 page views a month.

LOL! I don't think I'm in any danger of exceeding that right this minute! Thanks!
