help ! with a problem I am having with my website

Question
I don't know if this is the appropriate forum (none really looked appropriate) so I apologize in advance.
the last couple of days I've had someone hitting my website with, well, I don't know. the url is:
*****.wa.comcast.net
according to awstats, the number of pages they've hit over the last two days are 17460, the hits are 21358 and the bandwidth is 425.73 MB.
the pages they have hit are (assuming a little here) a product page on my website 9404 times, the home page 7954 times, and my new products page 193 times. thats in two days.
does anyone know what is going on here or if it is something I need to worry about? I had to block livejournal.com back in the winter because of someone hotlinking to a picture and spiking up my bandwidth. I don't know how to block a single address but I can find out.
Mostly, I just need to know if I should be concerned or if I should even do something to block this. but also, does anyone know exactly why they are hitting it that much?
Thank you in advance. If this continues, I think they might use all of my bandwidth with my hosting company (though I'd have to check on that). mostly though, I'm curious as well as worried about exactly why or what is going on.

Answer
I just looked at my webhost and it is 10 gigs a day or 300 gigs a month. is a gig 10 mb or 1000 mb? maybe I don't need to worry about bandwidth but still want to know what is going on.

Answer
Could be an indexing program for a directory.

I wouldn't worry too much unless it keeps occurring, or if your bandwidth starts to take a big hit.

And 1000 MB = 1 GB

10 GB/day is a generous allowance.

Cheers
