SEO What you think?

Question
I'm considering doing a class on SEO (search engine optimization). What I am considering is making it available ONLY to here supporting members. I will do it very much like the one I did on blogs. For those that join here in order to have the information I feel sure you will get way more in sales to more than cover the cost of joining. I am sorta waiting until Jim sets up the new membership tiers. I want to add my disclaimer to this. I am not a SEO expert nor have I ever been paid a penny for doing this. These are methods that have worked for me and a few others that I have helped. I created a website on the 1st of Jan and I'm showing page one for results in the 4-6 million results so I know these things work.
So what you think? Here's a chance to get a nice benefit from your membership.

Answer
Buy your memberships folks. This will be money well spent. Take it from someone who knows.

Mike I think I would be very interested, but I am afraid that the class will be too technical for me. I have tried reading things on the internet and always get quickly lost by the geek speak terms that I do not know.
If you can make it "search engine optimization for people too dumb to even be test dummies" then I am in.

Answer
page one for results in the 4-6 million results On what search engine, and how many visitors per day do you get from that search term?
I've got one that is #1 out of 13,300,000 on Google (I looked a couple minutes ago).
It's never sent a single visitor that I know of.

Answer
indyattic I am going to try to keep it very simple. I will use screen shots of a sample page so you can follow along. You can do as much or less you are comfortable with. Plus if I stump you or use terms that aren't clear I will be glad to answer any questions by private message. I know a lot of people don't like to discuss their websites on the boards and thats understandable.

Mike - I would love something like that. You've been very helpful to me on more than one occasion as I've stumbled through the web site building process. Now that I have my own store (which is currently gathering cob webs as we speak, LOL), I would really get a lot out of something about search engine placement, that was presented in a methodical, organized way. You are always good at explaining things too. I look forward to this if you decide to do it.

Sounds good to me, too. I've tried and not done so well with one site and have done another for my DH's business. I have had just 2 emails requesting more info about our rates and I'd sure like to raise that number a whole bunch.
I'm in.

Answer
I think that is a VERY generous offer, Mike.
For those who are worried that his instructions will be 'over your head', Mike's helped me before and was able to give me simple, easy-to-understand instructions that ANY novice can follow. And if I can understand them, ANYONE can!
